It started with a trip to Jaipur. Last winter, my husband and I found ourselves wandering the vibrant, chaotic streets of the Pink City. Among the incredible colors and the pulse of the markets, I discovered something that stopped me in my tracks: vintage Kantha.
I was immediately struck by the profound craftsmanship and the rich tradition woven into every piece. Long after we returned home, I couldn’t stop thinking about the women who spent countless hours hand-stitching these textiles, layering discarded saris together to create something entirely new, deeply personal, and breathtakingly beautiful.
